Radiologic Health Branch

"Enforces the Radiation Control Laws and Regulations designed to protect the public, radiation workers, and the environment."

Governor Schwarzenegger
Radiologic Health Branch

The Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) is now part of the California Department of Public Health. Effective July 1, 2007, the California Department of Health Services reorganized to form the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Due to that reorganization, the content on this website is being gradually transferred to the new CDPH website. At some point in 2008 this website will be retired but no date has yet been firmly established. For more information on the reorganization, please visit the new CDPH homepage at www.cdph.ca.gov.
