The
California Endowment awards grants to organizations and institutions
that directly benefit the health and well-being of Californians, and those that
work to provide and expand access to affordable, quality health care for
California's underserved individuals and communities. The Endowment has two main
grant programs -- Local Opportunities Fund and the CommunitiesFirst
-- designed to support ideas and approaches to health improvements generated at
the community level.
The
California Wellness Foundation is an independent, private foundation
created in 1992 with a mission to improve the health of the people of California
by making grants for health promotion, wellness education and disease
prevention.
Local Education Agency (LEA), Medi-Cal
Billing Option . This site will provide you with
information to help your school district participate in the LEA Medi-Cal Billing
Option and secure funds to provide additional services to your students.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Healthy
Youth Funding Database (HY-FUND) contains active information about
funding opportunities for adolescent and school health programs. These funding
opportunities are from federal agencies and the private sector. Each funding
opportunity is carefully selected based on its relevance to adolescent health,
or one or more of the eight components of a
Coordinated School
Health Program.
