Fall injuries result when a person comes to rest on a lower surface. It includes mishaps involving slips and trips, sports, and falls from buildings, furniture, playground equipment, ladders, and stairs. It does not include being pushed intentionally or jumping voluntarily or falls from any vehicle, such as a car or bicycle.
