  • Inspects 12,000 registered X-ray machines annually.    
  • Inspects 850 mammography facilities annually.
  • Inspects 500 radioactive material licensees annually.
  • Conducts 200 incident, accident, and complaint investigations annually.
  • Prepares enforcement actions against violators of State radiation laws and regulations.
  • Conducts internal audits designed to improve the quality of State inspections.
