Alzheimer's
disease patients and their family members are often interested in participating
in research studies that will contribute to our understanding of Alzheimer's
disease and related dementias. The ARCCs offer opportunities to
participate in clinical research studies in prevention, diagnosis, treatment,
behavioral management, and caregiving. Many of the Centers also conduct
clinical trials of medications that are sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry
as well as the National Institute of Health (NIH).
If you, or a member of your family, are interested in
participating in a research study, please contact an ARCC research coordinator
in your area to learn what studies are currently recruiting subjects.
